Bathroom Installation– Long Ashton, Bristol

We have recently completed a big bathroom project in Long Ashton on the outskirts of Bristol.

What did we do?

In this job we converted a dressing room into an En-Suite shower room. We had to remove walls, replace rotten joists and replace the floor entirely before we could even start with the new bathroom suite.

We work together with our customers!

This was a completely bespoke bathroom installation, which the customer brought to us with some great ideas that we worked with. We designed and provided our own ideas from experiences too really help shape the room and use the natural light from the Velux window.

We removed the dividing wall which darkened the room and installed a great walk in shower. Without removing the wall, it would have been impossible to install because it would have made the bathroom look smaller.

Using good quality tiles makes a great difference!

We used Samford patchwork tiles on the floor, green metro tiles in the Shower enclosure and white metro tiles for the rest of the bathroom all with grey grout.

The combination of all the colours gave the bathroom a really bright and modern feelingAll of the bold colours made the most of the natural light coming in from the Velux windows.

What about the rest of the bathroom?

We fitted a 1700mm walk in shower from Eastbrook’s with a glass screen supported by a chrome bar, to keep the attention on the tiles, by not having a chrome trim all the way round the screen. The shower itself is a new Aqualisa waterfall shower with a separate hose.

We built stud work to conceal the existing stack pipe and new toilet pipe work which was later tiled with a worktop fitted to allow access for future maintenance.

We also fitted vanity basin unit in a grey colour which adds great contrast to the tiles and matches the grout we used. On top of that we added storage to the room with an L.E.D Mirror which is activated via motion sensor which is a nice touch for getting ready in the mornings

At last but not least

To finish off the job we fitted a lovely chrome towel rail next to the vanity unit.

 Our Goal: A happy Customer

As the customer was so happy with the job, when we completed it, he booked us in to install a small cloak room under the stairs for the bedroom in their annex.
